This is the start of Autumn Term 1

We are a group of Year 7 boys and girls who enjoy learning and have fun

finding creative ways of doing it!

 

During this half term we will be learning several topics:

 

English - "Action and Atmosphere!" and "Poetry: The World Reimagined" 

Reading - A Monster Calls (Patrick Ness)

Mathematics - Unit 2: Calculations & Unit 3: Expressions, Functions and Formulae

Geography - Passport to the World: Glaciers

History - The Norman Invasion and Britain post 1066

Computing - Unit 2: Networks from semaphores to the Internet

Art - Colour Theory

PE -Health Related Fitness (KIT NEEDED WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY)

Design Technology - Christmas Wood and Plastic Project

RE - 

Music - Christmas Keyboards 

Science - Chemistry - Elements and Compounds

PSHE - Careers and Skills Building

Careers - Speaking and Listening Skills

 

Reading:

• Please read each evening, either on your own or to an adult.
• Read all types of print - in books, comics, newspapers, online etc - and please remember to tell your staff. We love hearing about your interests.

TimesTables:

• Please learn your times tables.
• You have log on details for TTRockstars - you do this in school, but you can also access this at home too.
