This is the start of Spring Term 1

We are a group of Year 7 boys and girls who enjoy learning and have fun finding creative ways of doing it!

 

During this half term we will be learning several topics:

 

English - "Explanations & Insights!" and "Reading for Pleasure" 

Reading - War Horse - Michael Morpurgo

Mathematics - Unit 4: Graphs, Unit 8: Measuring and shapes

Geography - Hydrology and Coasts

History - Normans and Castles 1066-1509

Computing - Unit 3: Modelling Data and Spreadsheets

Art - 

PE -Tennis/Pickleball and Basketball (KIT NEEDED WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY)

Design Technology - 

 

RE - 

Music -  

Science - Biology - Cells

PSHE - Diversity, Discrimination, Bullying and Inclusion

Careers - Problem solving Skills

 

Reading:

• Please read each evening, either on your own or to an adult.
• Read all types of print - in books, comics, newspapers, online etc - and please remember to tell your staff. We love hearing about your interests.

TimesTables:

• Please learn your times tables.
• You have log on details for TTRockstars - you do this in school, but you can also access this at home too.
