Welcome to our class page! We hope you've all had a great Easter break; we can't wait to hear all about it!

Welcome to our summer term!

We've got a great term ahead of us!

• In history, we'll be studying more modern ages - looking at some really interesting topics about the Cold War and how globalisation has changed the relationships between countries. 
• In geography, we'll be looking in depth at Russia and the Middle East, two areas of the world that have huge similarities and differences to our lives in the UK. 
• We'll be reading some fantastic novels, including Of Mice and Men - we'll also be having a go at writing our own survival guides!
• In computing, we'll be studying things we use every day... mobile phone apps! We'll look at how they're designed; coded; and debugged - even coming up with some ideas of our own. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
• Trying out some cool and interesting sports in PE - we're hoping to get outside as much as possible now that the weather is getting better!

We'll also be undertaking a big project to try and improve our own social signatures - we're going to focus on helping the environment, with a trip planned to visit a local recycling centre and a beach clean up activity!

As a class, we've had some great times this year so far. We've been to Anfield, delivering a speech about helping our community to other schools; we've been to Formby Pinewoods; the Lego Discovery Centre in Manchester; and even discovered the undersea worlds of SeaLife Manchester.
