Our current year 9 grouping have been with us for just over a year now. They worked brilliantly throughout year 8 with us and we hope this will continue whilst they are in year 9. 

There are a few small changes this year, most notibly in Science, Maths  and in Computing.

In Science, Mrs Ainscough will be leading the lessons which means the pupils will be taking part in many practicals and their learning will be even more interactive.

Mr Wilson has now got his own class so he will no longer be teaching Maths to our class. He has kindly left the dart board for us so we are continuing to practice every day to one day get our own 180 (One pupil has done this in school already).

In Computing, our school have implemented a new scheme of work, part of which will be delivered by a specialist computing lead. The pupils will also complete their ECDL course by the end of this year which will hopefully give them a qualification before they even begin with GCSE's.

We have already planned a number of trips with another year 9 class so hopefully this year will be an active and enjoyable one.
